Holbrooks Community es un centro web que detalla qué apoyo y actividades están disponibles para los residentes de Holbrooks a través de organizaciones hermanas Holbrooks Community Care Association y Holbrooks Community Center.

Entre las dos organizaciones, en los últimos 2 años han apoyado a la comunidad mediante:

Ofrecer asesoramiento e información a más de 2000 personas. Abrir un supermercado social para permitir que la comunidad acceda a alimentos de bajo costo. Facilitar docenas de actividades de HAF para niños de Holbrooks. Abrir un café comunitario. Realizar sesiones sin cita previa sobre habilidades digitales en asociación con CovConnects. Acceso a asesoramiento e información. Gratis capacitación sobre una mejor gestión del dinero y habilidades digitalesAcceso gratuito a Internet Impresión (*Tarifa a pagar)

Rummage Sale - 12th August- Holbrooks Community Centre

Pop along to Holbrooks Community Centre, John Shelton Drive, CV6 4PE on Monday 12th August between 12:00pm and 3:00 pm to our summer Rummage sale and grab a bargain. There are clothes, toys and bric a brac on offer at bargain prices. While you're there, enjoy hot meal and hot drinks at our community cafe! See you there!

Family Fun Day

On Monday 19th August between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, at Holbrooks Community Centre, John Shelton Drive, CV6 4PE, Energy Action Group are hosting a family Funday where you can get advice on support with fuel costs, energy debt, General Health and Well being. Coventry District Credit Union will be there too to give advise on savings and finances. You will also have the chance to talk to your local Councillor. Lots to do for the whole family, including clowning around with Coventry favourite 'Wolly', there will also be a quiz and a hot meal available at the Community Cafe, (Kids eat FREE!) See you there

The Return of the Community Fridge

The Community Fridge will be opening TUESDAY 25th JUNE at 1:00pm You will need to register to use the fridge, but registration is FREE to all. Just pop in the the centre by the park on Holbrook Lane Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 1:00pm and 3:00pm this week to sign up ready to use the fridge from next week. The Community Fridge is a way to save food from being wasted. Many supermarkets have fresh stock at the end of the day that they cannot use and donate it to organisations like us to hand out for free for those who will use it. We will never know what's going to be in the fridge until we have collected the donations, but from past experience, we will have fruit and vegetables, tinned goods, toiletries and sometimes milk, butter and cheese amongst may other treats. Just pop by between the times above to register.

FREE WI-FI at HCCA. We are now an official Sky Digital Hub.. If you need acccess to the internet, pop along to our centre by the Park on Holbrook Lane and just log in.. We also have devices for the public to use too here! We are open: Tuesday - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Wednesday - 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
