Holbrooks Community is a web hub detailing what support and activities are available to Holbrooks residents through sister organisations Holbrooks Community Care Association and Holbrooks Community Centre.
Between the two organisations, in the last 2 years they have supported the community by:
- Offering Advice and Information to over 2000 people
- Opening a Social Supermarket to enable the community to access low-cost food.
- Facilitating dozens of HAF activities for Holbrooks children
- Opening a Community Cafe.
- Run Digital Skills Drop-in Sessions in Partnership with CovConnects
- Access to advice and information
- Free training on better managing money and digital skills
- Free access to the internet
- Printing (*Fee payable)

👮♀️ Holb rooks Police Forum 👮♂️ 📅 Saturday 11th October 🕙 10:00am – 12:00pm 📍 Holbrooks Community Centre, John Shelton Drive, CV6 4PE Come and join us at the Holbrooks Police Forum! This is your chance to meet your local police officers, share any concerns, and hear about what’s happening in our area. Everyone is welcome – whether you want to raise an issue, ask a question, or simply listen in. No need to book – just pop in on the day! ☕ A great opportunity to have your voice heard and help make Holbrooks a safer, stronger community.
Pop along to Holbrooks Community Centre, John Shelton Drive, CV6 4PE on Monday 12th August between 12:00pm and 3:00 pm to our summer Rummage sale and grab a bargain. There are clothes, toys and bric a brac on offer at bargain prices. While you're there, enjoy hot meal and hot drinks at our community cafe! See you there!
On Monday 19th August between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, at Holbrooks Community Centre, John Shelton Drive, CV6 4PE, Energy Action Group are hosting a family Funday where you can get advice on support with fuel costs, energy debt, General Health and Well being. Coventry District Credit Union will be there too to give advise on savings and finances. You will also have the chance to talk to your local Councillor. Lots to do for the whole family, including clowning around with Coventry favourite 'Wolly', there will also be a quiz and a hot meal available at the Community Cafe, (Kids eat FREE!) See you there
The Community Fridge will be opening TUESDAY 25th JUNE at 1:00pm You will need to register to use the fridge, but registration is FREE to all. Just pop in the the centre by the park on Holbrook Lane Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 1:00pm and 3:00pm this week to sign up ready to use the fridge from next week. The Community Fridge is a way to save food from being wasted. Many supermarkets have fresh stock at the end of the day that they cannot use and donate it to organisations like us to hand out for free for those who will use it. We will never know what's going to be in the fridge until we have collected the donations, but from past experience, we will have fruit and vegetables, tinned goods, toiletries and sometimes milk, butter and cheese amongst may other treats. Just pop by between the times above to register.
FREE WI-FI at HCCA. We are now an official Sky Digital Hub.. If you need acccess to the internet, pop along to our centre by the Park on Holbrook Lane and just log in.. We also have devices for the public to use too here! We are open: Tuesday - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Wednesday - 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
#CovConnects are with us on Fridays between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to support you with all of you digital skills based queries , f rom filling in online forms, shopping online to setting up your computer to write your first Novel.. Lynne will guide you and pass on the skills to enable you to do so. No need to book, just come along
